Habitat For Humanity project kicks off in Pincher Creek

We’re excited to be the supplier of the ICF walls for Habitat for Humanity on its first-ever affordable duplex project in Pincher Creek. As Pincher Creek is home to us, we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this project and help build a better future for families through affordable home ownership.

The Town of Pincher Creek identified a need for this project through a Housing Needs Assessment in 2016. The Town also identified vacant land on Dupuy Street and donated it to Habitat for Humanity’s Southern Alberta chapter, which is home to the new duplex.

When we heard about this project, we began attending meetings to learn more about Habitat for Humanity and its mission to build strength, stability and independence for families through affordable home ownership. This is something we’re all about at SuperForm, as we advocate for a better way to build the future.

Part of a better way to build the future is providing homes that are strong, reliable and energy efficient. Using SuperForm ICF for this project secures ongoing cost savings for the future homeowners, through reduced energy bills and a resilient infrastructure that can withstand the fluctuating weather conditions of Southern Alberta. The sound benefits and ease of construction with SuperForm products, combined with our local presence in Pincher Creek, has made us a tremendous fit as a supplier for this project.

The Pincher Creek duplex began construction in early June and is scheduled for completion in October of this year. We look forward to continuing our work with this incredible organization and welcoming the new homeowners this fall.
